Since I’m in Baby Shower mode this week (you can see my decoration from Dollar Tree here), I thought I would share a few of the games we thought about playing. I won’t share the specific games, since it would give it away – but I will let you in on a few very budget friendly games that are hit!
Baby Shower Bingo – Cost $0
Materials: All you need is a free printable that you can find here and pens.
Guests will fill in what they think the momma will be receiving as a gift. The first person to create their BINGO wins a prize.
Guess Mom’s Tummy Size – Cost $0 (if you have needed yarn already)
Materials: String or Yarn and Scissors
Guests cut the yard or string to represent the circumference of momma’s belly. Compare the string or yarn to the actual circumference to find the winner.
Name The Baby Items – Cost $0
Materials: Paper and Pens
Guests list as many baby items as they can within 4 minutes. The one who names the most, wins. (It’s much harder than it sounds!)
Baby Trivia – Cost $0
Materials: List of trivia questions and answers
Aske a number of questions to the guests to see who knows the most random facts about babies. For example, How much did the biggest baby ever born weigh?
Baby Item Scramble – Cost $0
Materials: All you need is a free printable like the one here.
Guests unscramble the baby words.

Saving Money on Baby Shower Game Prizes:
Give to the Momma:
At most showers, a prize is given to the winner of the game. My college roomate, who’s co-hosting the shower with me this Saturday, decided to pick up a few small items to give to the momma on behalf of the winner! Is that not such a great idea?! Instead of giving a candle or small token, the momma-to-be will recieve a few more needed items like pacifiers or burp cloths.
Clearance Items:
Most stores, like Target, have great clearance items you snag for a fraction of the cost. Think about grabbing a few candles or simple decor items to give as a prize.
