It’s always a great day to thank a teacher! A month or so ago, I had the idea to thank our teachers for their hard work in the heat. The elementary school that my kid attends is not air conditioned and it gets hot the first few weeks of school. Couple that idea of thanks with the fact that Chick-fil-A had introduced their iced coffee, and I had a beautiful pairing!
Here’s what you need to make this easy gift:
Chick-fil-A gift card
8.5×11 cardboard cardstock
rubber cement
The first thing I did was to create a word document with two columns. Instead of playing around in word with the fonts, I actually created an image in PicMonkey. You can easily create in Picmonkey with all the fun fonts. I then placed the images into the word document. I did test the alignment a few times by printing it on regular paper to make sure it was a good fit with the gift cards.
After creating the wording, I simply used rubber cement to place the gift card on each little note. So easy! You can create two cards per 8.5×11 sheet of cardstock. The cards went to every teacher at the school from the PTO. It’s something little, but I always think teachers can use more thanks. Don’t you?
Thank a teacher this week – just because! 🙂
I did not receive any compensation from Chick-fil-A for creating these cards of Thanks. However, Chick-fil-A did provide the gift cards for the entire staff at the elementary school. I love Chick-fil-A!
