If you have a plan before you enter the grocery store, you’re going to buy less and save more!  This one fact has revolutionized the way I grocery shop.  Sure, there’s always a few times I buy donuts as I pass by the aisle, but overall I stick to my list and it helps me save money.  It’s also empowering to know what you’re going to buy and how much you’re going to spend before you even enter the store!

If you’re using the printable list format on Cleverly Simple, make sure you print the coupons as you go.  This will save you time!

Thank you SO much for all of your hard work & generosity. I have been dabbling in couponing for the past year, but always get overwhelmed by my failed systems. My mom gave me your business card yesterday & I am thrilled that she did. Thanks for all of your help…..I’m actually looking forward to getting my (mini) stockpile started. Thanks again!

I just figured I owed you a thank you, based on information I have gotten from u and a few others, I went shopping today at buehlers, and bought $91.26 worth of groceries for $38.19, that was after in store discounts with their advantage card, and coupons, that’s a 58% savings, and I’m sure I could have gotten a little cheaper with just a little more planning! But I am very proud of myself for my first real trip at trying to safe some money!

Thanks again for doing this series! I like this as I hate to stand shuffling thru my coupons in the store aisle. Here is a random question: what product/make-up do you use? You have beautiful skin! Dee

LoL. I’ve used Olay since high school. I use their face lotion with SPF everyday and wash my face with their Olay foaming face wash. It’s probably the only thing I’m a brand snob about. ;) I stock up when I can and it does take me awhile to get through the bottle. I’m not sure if it makes a difference but it’s one of those things I’ve done for over a decade so why stop now.
