This post has been a long time in the making. It’s something I should have shared months ago, but it took me this long to get the guts to start moving in this direction.
As of today, I will no longer be sharing coupon matchups on Cleverly Simple.
This was a hard decision for me, as it’s how I got started. For a long time, it’s what took up most of my time on Cleverly Simple. However, this past year as I shifted from sharing as many deals and started sharing more content like recipes, DIY and other savings tips, I found that you all were looking at my coupon matchups less and less. And I can’t blame you, as I was using coupon matchups less and less to save money as well.
It came to a point where I was still spending hours each weekend looking up the ad and matching it to coupons, only to find that the response was less and less – and more and more for the other content I was sharing. I just cannot justify the time it takes to do coupon matchups anymore. I would rather be in the kitchen trying a new recipe or at my kitchen table with glue all over my fingers as I test out a new DIY idea. 😉
Don’t worry, I’m not leaving you without the tools like matchups if that’s still your favorite way to save. You can find the same great data on Favado. It’s a free app and it will contain all the matchups you’ve loved on Cleverly Simple.
Thanks for understanding. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you want to share them with me.
Happy Saving. 🙂
