Hi Lynette,
I had a couple questions, I’m pretty new to this coupon clipping thing and I just recently discovered your blog thanks to ABC6 news and am really enjoying your site. I was just trying to decipher how to interpret your store matchups. When you list coupons from say P&G under a product and you put in parenthesis next to the coupon (P&G 4/28/13) does that mean that is the date the coupon you’re referring to came out in The Columbus Dispatch Sunday edition? I know I may be asking too simple of a question but I just want to be sure. And do you keep every single coupon from every Sunday paper?

Thanks

Lauren

Hi Lauren,

No question is too simple! :) And you are correct. When you see (P&G 4/28/13) that means it was the P&G insert from Sunday, April 28th. You may also sometimes see (P&G 4/28/13 R) The R means regional. Not all newspapers get the exact same coupons and I list coupons from all over the East coast, even though I also get the Columbus Dispatch.

Let me know if you have any more questions! :)
