Comments & Reviews
Hi, I made your pie crust which is very similar to what I usually make but makes a larger batch. I always do my flour and shortening mixture in a food processor and make several batches at a time and then put that in the freezer to use later. This saves lots of cleanup and is really cold to use when ready. I do roll out dough and freeze in pie plates which is so easy to pull out quickly.
I also don’t put extra flour on bottom of crust, I use wheaties or cornflakes. Bottom crust is really flaky since they absorb extra juices.
