Description

Drop biscuits can be made in 20 minutes! These flaky, tender biscuits are packed full of butter flavor. They’re the perfect breakfast!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 Cup butter, cold
  • 3/4 Cup milk

Instructions

  1. Prep – Preheat oven to 425˚ F.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients – The first step is to combine all your dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, sugar and salt) into a large bowl.
  3. Cut in the Butter – Using a pastry cutter, cut in the cold butter. You want the mixture of flour and butter to resemble small peas.
  4. Add the Milk – Gently stir in the milk until well incorporated.
  5. Scoop Dough – Using large spoons, scoop the dough onto a baking sheet.
  6. Bake – Bake in a preheated 425˚F oven for 14 minutes or until the top edges are lightly brown.
