Homemade deep dish barbecue pizza!

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza crust
  • Homemade barbecue sauce
  • 1 large chicken breast
  • Chopped red onion
  • Chopped fresh cilantro
  • Sliced jalapenos (optional)
  • Extra sharp and monterey jack cheeses
  • Cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Lay out your pizza crust
  2. Generously spread the barbecue sauce
  3. Add cooked barbecue chicken chunks: (Divide chicken breast into 2 slices. Spread chopped garlic, seasoning salt and pepper onto each slice. Sear in hot pan with canola oil until lightly browned. Turn off the heat and put the lid on. Let it continue to cook for 10 minutes. Cut in chunks. Pour on some barbecue sauce and the juices from the pan, stir)
  4. Add chopped red onion
  5. Add chopped fresh cilantro
  6. Add sliced jalapenos (optional)
  7. Add 50/50 mixture of shredded extra sharp and monterey jack cheeses
  8. Sprinkle with cracked black pepper
  9. Place into a preheated 425 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
