Homemade taco seasoning recipe using a few simple ingredients!  This recipe makes 1 lb but you can easily make more to store in your pantry.

  • 2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon Hungarian paprika
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon coriander
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  1. Combine all ingredients and add to 1 lb of fully cooked ground beef.
  2. Add 1/4 cup of water and bring to simmer.
  3. When water has evaporated, your taco meat is ready!

If making homemade taco seasoning in bulk, for every one pound of meat, add 2 Tablespoons of taco mix.

Bulk Large Batch Taco Seasoning:
1/3 cup chili powder
2 Tablespoons + 2 teaspoons cumin
4 teaspoon Hungarian paprika
4 teaspoons oregano
4 teaspoon garlic powder
4 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons coriander
2 teaspoons black pepper
For bulk seasoning mix, multiply the recipe as many times as you want and pour it into a glass container with a tight fitting lid.  Above is the recipe multiplied eight times.  When you’re ready to add it to ground beef, add 2 tablespoon of homemade taco seasoning to 1 lb of meat.
