Play-doh Ho Ho Ho In A Jar : DIY Gift Idea

Homemade Play doh DIY Gift

And… I’m back with another DIY gift idea this Christmas.  I have really been in the DIY mood and so you’re going to find a number more over the next week. 🙂  But first…

DIY Christmas Gifts

As a recap, here’s what I started with.  For this gift idea I wanted to use the cute glass jar as a child’s gift.  And what better way than to make play-doh!  I made my own play-doh with items I had at home so that the only cost was the jar!

Diy Gift Idea Lid

Essentially, the only work with this gift, besides making the play-doh, was making the label on the front.  I simply traced the lid using the glitter foam board I mentioned here and added a little tag.  And that was it!

I just loved the little jar I found at the Dollar Tree.  You could fill it with the hot tang recipe, I mentioned or candy.  Really, it’s the presentation that counts, right?
