Notes
Watch the oven! Each batch of cookies can be different in time for baking based on where your oven is at in its heating. Many newer ovens today reset their temperatures after the temperature drops 20-30 degrees. That makes a big difference when baking your cookies! Always, set to the lowest time and then check each minute more until done.Do not over bake! Over baking cookies is the one great sin that so many seem to commit. It's a little hard to tell with these cookies because they are naturally dark in color, but you are looking for just a light golden edge and the middle to be set. To test your baking time, bake just one cookie and let it cool to test.
