This pull apart garlic bread is soft, buttery, and packed with garlic flavor and the freshness of parsley. Plus, you only need 5 ingredients to make it!

Ingredients

  • 12 Frozen Dinner Rolls Thawed
  • Cup Butter melted
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Garlic finely chopped

Instructions

  • Thaw your dinner rolls (about 30 minutes) so that they can be cut in half. Place the halved thawed rolls in a large bowl.
  • In a smaller bowl, combine all the remaining ingredients. Pour over the rolls and toss to coat.
  • Arrange the rolls in a greased tube pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Bake in a preheated 350˚ F oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Invert the pan to remove the bread. Serve warm.

Notes

Expert Tips: Thaw the dinner rolls but don't let them rise too much: For this garlic bread recipe, your dough must be thawed to cut in half, but not allowed to rise too much. This helps to guarantee that your bread will bake evenly in the oven.
Let the dough rise in a warm place: Set your oven temperature to 100˚ F to allow the rolls to rise successfully. If your oven isn't able to be set at 100˚ F, turn an empty oven on to 350˚ F for one minute. Turn the oven off and then place your rolls in the oven to rise in the turned off oven.
Refrigerate: After enjoying your pull-apart garlic bread, if you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They can last for up to 2-3 days. While it is best to eat this garlic bread fresh, refrigerated leftovers still offer a delicious flavor.
Reheat Instructions: To reheat your refrigerated garlic bread, place them on a baking sheet and warm them in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes, or until they are heated through. This will help maintain the soft texture and buttery flavor.
Freeze: Since this bread is so easy to make, I don’t recommend freezing it. It’s best enjoyed fresh. You can, instead, keep some frozen dinner roll dough handy to make these whenever you want.
Suggested Rolls:  I used Rhodes frozen rolls to test this recipe.
