1 9-inch pie plate
1 large bowl
Ingredients
19 inch Pie Shell
1Tablespoonall-purpose flour
¾CupGranulated Sugar
¾CupOld Fashioned Rolled Oats
¾CupDark Corn Syrup
2Eggsslightly beaten
½CupUnsweetened Flaked Coconut
½CupButtermelted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350˚ F. Shape pie dough in pie shell and spread 1 Tablespoon of flour on the base of the shell.
Mix the sugar, oats, corn syrup, beaten eggs, coconut, and butter together in a large bowl.
Pour into raw pie shell.
Bake for 45 minutes. After 20 minutes add a pie shield to avoid burning edges.
Let the pie cool for four hours before serving.
