This seasoned oyster cracker recipe features a combo of herby dill and tangy ranch seasoning for a snack that's crunchy and incredibly tasty.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz oyster crackers
  • ½ Cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Hidden Valley Ranch Buttermilk seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon dill weed
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 250˚ F.
  • In a bowl, combine the oil, ranch seasoning, dill weed, and garlic powder.
  • Pour over the oyster crackers and toss until evenly coated.
  • Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, tossing at the halfway point.

Notes

Expert Tip: Let the oyster crackers sit after tossing them in the mixture for 15 minutes to let the oil soak in a bit before baking. This will ensure that the crackers are evenly and thoroughly coated with the seasoning mix, resulting in a more flavorful end product.
Store: After enjoying this easy snack recipe, you can store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature. They'll stay fresh and crunchy for up to 2 weeks.
Freeze: I don’t recommend freezing these oyster crackers since they will lose their crunch once thawed.
